Dear Friends Greetings from Adivasi Sahitya Sabha (ASS) . We had Two discussion(27th and 28th May06) with some members of ASS namely ,Mr.Promod S Guria (GS) ,Ghana Orang(VP),Mr. Stephen Ekka,Mr.Godfrey ,Fr.Hippo (Members) and Wilfred (President) about the Maha Karam Parav (state leve Karam festivasl) Which is to be held at Tezpur District Libarary in September 06. The Maha Karam Prava will contain culture competitions ,Shows and seminar on Adivasi Language. It may be two days Program. We need suggetion from you all . Pls send us your suggetion so that we can disscuss during the next meeting which is to be held in the middle of June.

STATE LEVEL KARAM FESTIVAL AT TEZPUR

Vanue:: District Library, Church field
Date: Two Days –middle or last week of September 06

Objective:

1. Strengthen Unity
2. Promote culture through competition and shows’
3. Promote Language through seminar.
4. Make a common program to develop Adivasi language.

Task:

• Meeting at different level (district committee at Nawgoan)and reception committee
• Publicity through Pamphlets,
• Media Collect article for magazine.
• Fund from government and other agency also form public by donation;.
• Identify cultural troops, and competitors Type of programs, agendas, Guest s, resource persons.
